Nvidia leads Perplexity round at $30B valuation

Nvidia is in talks to lead a multibillion-dollar funding round in Perplexity at a valuation exceeding $30B. The chipmaker previously considered a license-and-hire deal but shifted to a traditional equity investment. This move marks Nvidia's deeper push into AI software. Perplexity's revenue has reportedly surged to over $750M from less than $250M at the start of the year.
