Factory Droid outperforms Claude Code in same-model agent test
matanSF · x · 2026-08-25
A comparative test using the same model (Opus 4.6) and task (cloning Excalidraw) revealed that Factory Droid completed the work in 8 minutes at a cost of $1.60, while Claude Code took 19 minutes and cost $1.87. This demonstrates that agent efficiency is often constrained by the harness design and tool orchestration rather than the underlying model capabilities.
