Free Tokens to Open Source: Terminal Agent Orchestrator & Rust Coding CLI
doodlestein · x · 2026-08-25
Jeff Emanuel (@doodlestein) shared his open-source creations built using free tokens, effectively converting them into a suite of Rust-based AI coding tools and agent infrastructure.
- frankenterm: A terminal hypervisor for AI agent swarms featuring real-time pane capture, state-machine pattern detection, and a JSON API for coordinating fleets of coding agents across WezTerm.
- piagentrust: A high-performance AI coding agent CLI written in Rust with zero unsafe code.
These projects demonstrate how to leverage free compute resources to build sophisticated tooling for agent development.
