Open Source: Single-binary Git server implementation on S3
ricklamers · x · 2026-08-24
Inspired by a Cursor blog post, the author implemented an open-source Git server in Rust. It is a single binary that can point to any S3-compatible object store, using WAL and CAS primitives without needing another database. It implements bundle-uri for fast downloads of large Git repos like monorepos.
