General Intuition, a New York-based startup building foundation models for generalized AI agents to move through space and time, is in talks to raise funding at a $6 billion pre-money valuation. New investors reportedly include Valor Equity Partners, Point72 Ventures, and Seven Seven Six, with participation from existing backers Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst.
This round comes just weeks after the company raised $320 million at a $2.3 billion valuation. CEO Pim de Witte spun out the startup from video game clip-sharing platform Medal last October, leveraging hundreds of millions of hours of gameplay data and action labels as its initial dataset.
