Cursor leaked source maps; Grok Bot rebuilt as readable TypeScript

Cursor's Grok Bot 0.18.0 release shipped with runtime source maps, which a community researcher used to fully reconstruct the app: the Electron main process, host, coordinator, local-execution, and protocol layers were rewritten as readable TypeScript, with a deterministic toolchain to build a working macOS app from those sources.
GitHub user b-nnett published grok-bot-0.18-reconstructed (unofficial), adding practical extensions:
- an inference router letting the same agent loop switch to Claude Code, Codex, and OpenRouter;
- a local Docker sandbox replacing the remote box.
This effectively open-sources Grok Bot's full implementation to the industry; open-source clones are expected to follow quickly.
