Nvidia Vets Launch Veeda AI to Build World Models for Robotics
ZGojcic · x · 2026-08-24
Radical Ventures co-led an investment with Khosla Ventures in Veeda AI, a stealth startup founded by NVIDIA veterans building world models that enable robots to learn in simulated reality before deploying physically.
- The Problem: Training robots in the physical world is expensive, time-consuming, and unsafe.
- The Solution: Veeda is creating a multimodal foundation for physical AI. Its architecture processes complex sensor data and action inputs to generate accurate physical-world states and automated reward signals, creating a reactive environment for learning.
- Team: Founded by Sanja Fidler (former VP of AI Research at NVIDIA), Zan Gojcic (former Director of Research at NVIDIA), and Huan Ling.
