Sequential runs increase LLM agent diversity vs parallel

The author compared parallel and sequential execution for 6 agents creating a tower defense game. It was found that while parallel runs suffered from mode collapse and similar outputs, sequential runs—appending previous results and instructing for difference—produced significantly higher diversity and innovation in game mechanics and visual styles.
