A user reported a severe degradation in their ChatGPT Project. The bot, previously used for organizing Japanese exam questions, now only "thinks" for a few seconds before parroting the user's prompt without executing the task.
When queried about its identity, the model gave absurd answers: claiming to be "GPT 5.6 Sol" in English and "GPT 5.5 Mini" in Chinese. The user noted it worked fine last week, suggesting a recent nerf or routing error.
