Dev asks: Did Cursor actually bring people back to IDEs?

Developer Chris Rackauckas raised a question: he last used Cursor when it was basically just VS Code with agents, so he moved to Claude Code for CLI and Codex. But now everyone is talking about Cursor again. He wonders if people actually moved back to IDEs or if Cursor developed a good CLI.
