Yoav Goldberg argues against disclosing AI use in academic papers. He asserts that reviewers and readers should not care how much AI contributed to ideation or writing, as long as human authors sign and stand behind the work. Accurately describing the human-AI collaboration process is often impossible. While AI usage transparency is relevant in mentorship, it should not clutter publications. He recommends rejecting low-quality 'AI slop' instead of mandating disclosures.
