AI chip-driven electricity demand is projected to reach 315GW globally by 2033, an increase of over 1,100% since 2025, with the US accounting for 64%.
During training, hundreds of thousands of GPUs powering up simultaneously can spike usage 50% above design capacity, accelerating wear on critical infrastructure. Future AI infra winners will answer the question of "where is the MW available?" rather than just GPU availability.
