Tommaso from ETH's SPCL lab explains REPS (Remote Extent Packet Spraying), a protocol developed with Microsoft for efficient packet spraying in Ethernet. Now part of Ultra Ethernet, REPS provides adaptive load balancing and failure mitigation to power large-scale AI clusters.
