Stanford tracker finds no decisive evidence of AI-driven economic transformation yet

Stanford's Digital Economy Lab launched the "Transformation Tracker" to monitor 12 direct economic indicators, assessing whether AI is triggering an economic shift comparable to the Industrial Revolution. Tracking metrics like labor productivity and investment returns, the project concludes that despite rapid AI advancements, there is currently no decisive evidence of explosive economic growth in macroeconomic indicators.
