Google Criticized: Gemini 3.7 Still Missing From Its Own Jules Agent a Week Later

A developer calls out Google's internal shipping speed: after good results with Gemini 3.7 Flash led him to resubscribe to Gemini AI Pro, he found Gemini 3.7 still unavailable in Google's own Jules cloud coding agent, more than a week after launch.

He argues this reflects big-tech process dysfunction — even a "one-line code change" can't get greenlit, with middle-manager approval bottlenecks slowing iteration. That, he says, explains why the Gemini + Google Workspace integrations are so poor: product teams take the flak while urgent requests sit in some manager's inbox.
