Sam Altman: ChatGPT was deemed unsustainable internally

Sam Altman recalled that two months after ChatGPT's launch, many inside OpenAI felt its value was unsustainable and it broke every Silicon Valley rule for products. He insisted that doing anything else would be a mistake.
