Voice AI Startup Modulate Takes #1 Spot on Hugging Face's Transcription Benchmark

Modulate announced it has taken the top spot on Hugging Face's Transcription Benchmark, overtaking the previous leader on the daily ranking. The company builds audio-native models that it says catch what transcripts miss — fraud, churn, compliance risk, and deepfake detection — with customers including Activision, which uses it to identify disruptive behavior in multiplayer games in real time. Developers can access its five model families via the Modulate API.
