Optimism for robotics: Synthetic data and solving non-verifiable problems
sarahookr · x · 2026-08-24
Despite the different pace, there are reasons to be optimistic that the rate of progress for robotics is accelerating. First, we can build synthetic data more cheaply and easily now, so the data gap may not be as severe. Second, solving non-verifiable problems is critical and not isolated to robotics; progress here will lift all ships.
