Stripe releases Link CLI to let agents securely pay on behalf of users
jeff_weinstein · x · 2026-08-24
Stripe has launched Link CLI, enabling AI agents to make payments on behalf of human users with authorization. The workflow involves: users authorizing their Link account; the agent generating a 'spend request' when it needs to spend money; and the user approving the transaction via 2FA methods like FaceID or SMS. The tool aims to offer flexible payment capabilities for various agent frameworks.
