Bittensor Subnet 120 (Affine) is offering top ML talent a highly lucrative, permissionless path: no application, no corporate bureaucracy, and open to researchers anywhere in the world.
The deal: beat the current best open models under Affine's evaluation and you take one of five rewarded model slots. At current prices and emissions, each slot pays roughly $50,000 per week. The project notes the best Affine miner probably hasn't even heard of Bittensor yet, and invites AI engineers and independent researchers squeezing more capability out of open models to take the incumbent paid models' spots.
