AI-Native Development Is a Workflow, Not a Coding Agent
ruslansv · x · 2026-08-24
Ruslan Belkin argues that an AI coding agent is not an engineering system but an input to one. Simply accelerating code generation without redesigning the surrounding review, CI, and release workflows only creates a larger queue. True AI-native development requires redesigning workflows so humans and agents share the same source of truth and playbooks. The proposed operating model assigns heuristics to the model, invariants to the workflow, judgment to humans, and memory to the repository.
