An AI coding agent is an input to an engineering system, not the system itself
ruslansv · x · 2026-08-24
The author argues an AI coding agent is not an engineering system but an input to one. If code generation gets 10x faster while review, CI, merge, release and knowledge capture stay human-dependent, the system mostly produces a larger queue. His companion essay expands this into a full case for AI-native development as a workflow redesign.
