Developer Builds Lisp for Agents with Built-in MCP, Enabling Safe Tool Calls
dramatic_couscous · reddit · 2026-08-24
Inspired by Anthropic's programmatic tool calling, a developer built a Lisp dialect called lisptc for agent programming. It has built-in MCP support, making tools first-class functions without JSON schemas or glue code. Supports searching MCP servers, auto-loading, and LSP for completions and hover docs. Context stays clean with grep-able paginated reads. Work in progress.
