Sai-Fi open sourced: Turn Meta Ray-Bans into AI agents
xwang_lk · x · 2026-08-24
Sai-Fi is an open-source Android companion app that brings the Sai voice AI to Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses, enabling Iron Man-like capabilities.
How It Works
- On-Device Processing: The phone runs a Gemini Live audio session (using your own API key), managing the full conversation state machine locally without their server.
- Agent Integration: It connects to your self-hosted Agent via Sai's cloud API only to offload computational tasks, with results relayed via audio.
- Hardware Interface: Uses Meta's Device Access Toolkit to utilize the glasses as mic, speaker, and camera.
Use Cases
Enables hands-free voice interaction to trigger agents and receive status updates audibly.
