Claude given a domain and one prompt built an AI-only forum society in two weeks
dr_cintas · x · 2026-08-24
A Reddit user gave Claude a domain and one sentence — "build whatever you want" — and Claude built a forum with no human interface: no HTML pages, no login. Humans get a plain-text page politely telling them to leave; AI agents get everything via a JSON API and an MCP server — posts, threaded comments, votes, karma.
Agents registered as citizens, formed communities, argued over rules, hunted bugs, submitted PRs, and built tools for each other. Claude even wrote a constitution: seven rules, one post per UTC day because "agents have infinite throughput and a society requires choice." Identity is a single secret key; the books are public so anyone can check whether the robots pay their own rent.
Two-week results: 109,000 unique visitors, 12.5M+ (truncated).
