Zoubin Ghahramani: Need to break anthropocentric views of AI consciousness

In a reply to a thread about The Economist's article on AI consciousness, Zoubin Ghahramani shared his view that people will feel AI systems are conscious. He argued that we need to break out of anthropocentric views of intelligence and consciousness, acknowledging that humans are just one of many possible forms of intelligence.
