Expert debunks Nvidia Rubin's 10x performance claim as cherry-picked
zephyr_z9 · x · 2026-08-23
Addressing claims that Nvidia's Rubin GPU will deliver 10x the token throughput of Blackwell, a technical expert argues this is a case of cherry-picked benchmarks. The 10x improvement is only achievable at extremely high interactivity levels (tokens per second per user). Since most labs serve models at around 50-60 tokens/s, the claimed performance boost is misleading for real-world deployments.
