Sakana AI is opening a Member of Technical Staff (LLM Development) position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop LLMs serving as the foundation for products and RSI research.
- Engage in all stages of LLM development, including pre-training, mid-training, post-training, and evaluation.
- Handle model architecture improvements, data construction, experimental validation, and scaling.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years of practical ML/DL experience.
- Experience designing, running, and debugging ML jobs with multiple GPUs in shared environments.
Location: Tokyo. Japanese (Business) & English required.
