Cursor Launches S3-Based Git Storage System for Scale
bibryam · x · 2026-08-23
Cursor has released its Git storage system featuring a write-ahead-log (WAL) first architecture on S3. This solution addresses Spokes' limitations in replication and consistency, achieving fully consistent and horizontally scalable push and clone performance. Benchmarks show the system supports up to 120 pushes/s on S3 Standard and over 300 pushes/s on S3 Express One Zone.
