Ramp's AI Index reveals Anthropic's enterprise spend is a fraction of OpenAI's, suggesting a ceiling on what companies pay for marginal quality. Separately, Claude Code users accused Anthropic of silently downgrading the "high" reasoning mode (mapping 100 to 10); Anthropic claims it was a config mapping error, but skepticism remains high.
