Nvidia's upcoming Rubin NVL72 rack could cost around $8M, up from $4M for GB300. Despite a 17% price hike, the new rack offers 2-3x more tokens per server. This increase could add at least $5B to the chip cost of a 1 GW data center, with cloud providers expected to pass some costs to customers.
