A user investigating Fable's performance found ways to drastically reduce startup token consumption by disabling unused schemas:
- Disable Artifacts (-6.5k tokens) and Workflows (-5k tokens) in settings.local..
- Turn off Chrome integration via /chrome to prevent loading 22k tokens of Chrome schema.
- Ban the official Claude API skill to stop random loading of its 300k token schema.
