Galaxy General robot plays tennis with champion Zheng Jie using autonomous embodied intelligence
机器之心 · wechat · 2026-08-23
The 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games opened, featuring Galaxy General's tennis robot playing the first human-robot singles match against champion Zheng Jie. The robot autonomously tracks, judges, moves, and swings, even recovering from a fall. Its capability is powered by the embodied intelligence model AstraBrain, combining a "brain" for decision-making, a "cerebellum" for motor control, and neural control, achieved through data training and simulation. This marks AI's transition from "thinking" to "acting".
