LUA Latent Upscaler Adapter Open Sources, Supporting SDXL/SD3/FLUX
rsasaki0109 · x · 2026-08-23
The LUA (Latent Upscale Adapter) project is now open source, providing the official implementation for the ECCV 2026 paper. It is a lightweight module that performs super-resolution directly on the generator's latent code, integrating as a drop-in component without modifying the base model or adding diffusion stages. It enables high-resolution synthesis through a single feed-forward pass in latent space, reducing decoding and upscaling time while maintaining comparable perceptual quality to pixel-space methods.
