gnukeith · x · 2026-08-23
Alibaba's AliExpress was found using inaudible audio beacons to fingerprint user devices instead of recording audio. This technique measures how a specific device processes the sound to create a unique identifier. Brave Browser states its built-in protections can block such cross-site fingerprinting scripts.
