Claude Max users burn through weekly limits in a day despite 50% boost

A Reddit user reports that despite Anthropic promising 50% higher usage limits through August 31st, their top-tier $200 subscription's weekly quota was exhausted within a day and a half of very light use — far short of the advertised 20x (nominally 30x) allowance. Weeks earlier the same quota had covered building an open-source physics engine and browser game; now even light web design work drains it. They still consider Fable + Claude Code the best stack but say many $200 subscribers may cancel and try other frontier models over this.
