Claude macOS app adds chat groups feature
smellythief · reddit · 2026-08-23
A user noticed a new "Add to groups" feature in the Claude macOS desktop app. This feature essentially acts as folders for chats, allowing users to organize conversations. While Projects offers siloed organization, Groups provides a more flexible way to manage chats without isolating knowledge. The author views this as a positive sign for Claude's app UI/UX improvements, noting that Tags would be even better but Groups are sufficient. The feature is not yet available on the iOS app.
