Developer Bindu Reddy criticized Anthropic's latest models, Opus 5 and Sonnet 5, calling them "legit regressions." She noted that they spin more, cost more, and offer no quality upside. She stated that Opus 4.8 and Sonnet 4.6 remain the best models for agentic tasks.
