Benchmark: 0.4MP upscaling is 38% faster than native 0.8MP generation
Downtown-Cover-7422 · reddit · 2026-08-23
A user benchmarked two 15-second video workflows in ComfyUI: native 0.8MP generation took 3056 seconds, while 0.4MP generation upsampled to 0.8MP using MMH3 Latent Upscaler took only 1904 seconds. The workflow used Sparse attention, Chicken attention, and SongMaskedAVContext nodes. The results suggest that generating at lower resolution and upscaling is significantly more time-efficient.
