The author trained Localsong, a 1.2B-parameter DiT instrumental game-music generator, from scratch in 8 days on a single cloud H100, reusing the VAE from Stable Audio 3. It aims to cover a wider range of instrumental styles than Ace-Step, MiniMax M3 or Stable Audio 3 (no lyrics). Open-sourced on Hugging Face with a WebUI and MP3 samples—clone and run uv run webui.py to try it.
