One day back on Codex after Claude Code: a stark gap in practice

- Poor recovery after restart: Codex insists its subworkers are still running when they died, until explicitly told otherwise.
- Spins its wheels more: explores wrong directions, loses the main objective, and needs far more steering.
- Weaker UX/product intuition: Sol leaves things messier than where it started.
The author caveats this is a small sample — about a day across four side projects — but the gap was stark enough that they're considering a second Anthropic subscription to dodge weekly limits, and asks other dual users whether this matches their experience.
