GovAI is hiring Entrepreneurs-in-Residence to start new AI governance and safety organizations. Participants receive a year of salary and $150k in seed funding without giving up equity. The program aims to fill the gap between important work and available organizational capacity. Proposed projects could include automating governance, producing expert-endorsed proto-standards, an AI Bellingcat, sub-frontier model evaluators, or a TechCongress for outside the US. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with a 2-page pitch limit.
