A three-word test to reject 80% of enterprise AI use cases
kashifmanzoor · x · 2026-08-23
The author proposes a three-word test to quickly reject 80% of enterprise AI use-case ideas:
- Owned: Is there one person who runs this workflow today and wants it better? No owner, no pilot.
- Measured: Does a concrete number exist before AI that we'd move? 'Efficiency' isn't a number; 'minutes per case' is.
- Bounded: When the AI is wrong, is the damage small and catchable?
Failing any one of the three means NO — set the exciting use case aside.
