MIT Professor Tests AI Agent Team Manufacturing Real Physical Objects
ProfBuehlerMIT · x · 2026-08-23
MIT Professor Markus Buehler shared an experiment where a team of AI agents solved a complex engineering problem end-to-end. Starting from four design images, the agents inferred structural principles, synthesized an interactive physics simulator, ran experiments, optimized the design, and finally manufactured the best physical objects. The entire loop worked remarkably well, and the author even coordinated with the agents via Apple Watch.
