MIT Prof demos agent team solving engineering problems from images to physical manufacturing

MIT Prof. Markus Buehler demonstrated an experiment using a team of AI agents to solve complex engineering problems end-to-end. The workflow involved inferring structural principles from four design images, synthesizing an interactive physics simulator, running experiments, optimizing the design, and finally manufacturing the best physical designs. The loop worked remarkably well, allowing communication with agents via Apple Watch.
