MIT Professor Demonstrates AI Team Solving Engineering Problems and Manufacturing Objects
ProfBuehlerMIT · x · 2026-08-22
Markus Buehler showcased an experiment where a team of AI agents solved a complex engineering problem end-to-end. Starting from design images, the agents inferred structural principles, synthesized an interactive physics simulator, ran experiments to optimize the design, and ultimately manufactured the best designs. The fully automated loop could even be monitored via Apple Watch.
