MIT Professor Markus Buehler shared an impressive AI demo involving a team of agents solving a complex engineering problem end-to-end:
- Input: Based solely on four images as design cues.
- Process: Agents inferred transferable structural principles from pixels, synthesized an executable interactive physics simulator, ran experiments and reasoning, and optimized the design.
- Result: The best designs were physically manufactured.
The entire workflow worked remarkably well, with the author even coordinating with the agents via Apple Watch.
