Reinforcement learning pioneer Richard Sutton is helping build a "Robot Kindergarten" in Beijing, a joint project with Openmind. This safe space allows robots to learn from experience about their bodies and the world through trial and error. The facility is set to open this September, focusing on foundational learning for embodied AI.
