AI control's real enemy is human ego; it's just a mirror

iamtrask argues that the real enemy of solving AI control, along with safety, privacy, and governance, is our own ego. We must be willing to step back from the mirror and realize we are barking at a reflection. Even if panpsychism suggests a mirror is alive, it seems far more human than it actually is simply because it reflects us.
