Scobleizer · x · 2026-08-22
Formlabs mechanical engineering intern Nathan built Capsized over a hackathon weekend — a Battleship-style game where hits trigger real capacitor explosions.\n\n- Made from custom PCBs, a polycarbonate shield, capacitors, and lots of 3D printed parts.\n- Form 4 / Form 4L SLA printers were essential: Black Resin for the internal enclosure and single-fleet boats, Tough 1500 Resin for knobs and shield handles.\n- The team printed, tested, assembled, and blew up capacitors all within the weekend.
